A stepper motor is an electromechanical actuation element that converts electrical pulse signals into angular or linear displacement. Simply put, for each pulse it receives, it rotates a fixed angle.
Core working principle:

• Pulse drive: A stepper motor driver receives pulse signals from a controller. For each input pulse, the motor's rotor rotates a fixed angle (called the step angle).

• Precise positioning: The total rotation angle is determined by the number of pulses, and the rotation speed is determined by the pulse frequency. Because open-loop precise control is possible without a position sensor, the system cost is relatively low.
