Japanese Mitsubishi Explosion-Proof Motor Product Introduction:
These are pressure-resistant explosion-proof motors manufactured according to factory electrical equipment explosion-proof guidelines. They can be used in both Class 1 and Class 2 hazardous locations.
Although it has a totally enclosed fan-cooled structure, even if an explosion of flammable gas occurs inside the motor, it can sufficiently withstand the pressure and will not ignite the external atmosphere.

Easy Operation:

The terminal box has ample space, making wiring work very easy, and a fixed terminal block type is also available.
Aiming for maintenance-free operation, sealed ball bearings are used for frame sizes 180Fr and below.
Additionally, for frame sizes 200Fr and above, open bearings are used on the load side. Mitsubishi's unique lubrication system allows for simple and safe greasing and draining during operation.

Extensive Special Specifications:

To suit a wide variety of applications, special specifications such as outdoor types, corrosion-resistant types, vertical types, flange-mounted types, and inverter drive types are available.
There is a dedicated pressure-resistant explosion-proof inverter-driven motor for inverter drive. When combined with the FREQROL-B3(N) inverter, it forms a series of pressure-resistant explosion-proof constant torque motors capable of wide-range variable speed operation.

Pressure-resistant Explosion-proof Motors XE-NE/XF-NE Series:
In hazardous locations where flammable solvents like thinners are used, or where flammable gases or vapors may be present, explosion-proof electrical equipment must be used.

Inverter-driven pressure-resistant explosion-proof motors must be used in combination with an inverter that corresponds to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare explosion-proof testing certification. Therefore, they must be used with the Mitsubishi inverter FREQROL-B3 (FR-B3) specifically designed for pressure-resistant explosion-proof motors. (Combination with inverters other than FREQROL-B3 does not meet explosion-proof certification conditions and is not permitted for operation.)
XE-NEVCA-2 corresponds to standard inverters, while XE-NEVCA-1 corresponds to low-noise inverters.
